Subject: Prayer for permission and financial assistance to arrange an educational study tour to Paharpur and Mahasthangarh.
Sir,
We, the students of the Department of History and Humanities of your prestigious college, have the honor to submit that an educational excursion is an indispensable component of practical historical education. Confining learning within the four walls of a classroom deprives students of witnessing architectural marvels and archaeological heritage firsthand.
Our batch has planned a three-day educational excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage Buddhist Vihara at Paharpur in Naogaon and the ancient archaeological citadel of Mahasthangarh in Bogura during the upcoming spring break. Two of our senior professors have kindly consented to accompany and guide our group throughout the tour. A modest institutional subsidy will make the trip affordable for students coming from economically challenged backgrounds.
We, therefore, earnestly pray and hope that you would kindly grant us permission for the study tour and sanction a financial grant from the college excursion fund to make our educational journey fruitful and successful.
