Subject: Prayer for urgent dispatch of food rations and medical relief for marooned flood victims.
Sir,
I, on behalf of the inhabitants of Char Chandia Union under your administrative jurisdiction, beg most respectfully to draw your urgent attention to the catastrophic situation caused by recent torrential rains and sudden cross-border flash floods. Over eighty percent of the homesteads in our union have been completely submerged under chest-deep floodwaters.
Standing aman crops and vast vegetable farmlands have been washed away, and hundreds of cattle have perished. The marooned villagers, currently taking precarious shelter on river embankments and school rooftops, are facing acute starvation. More alarmingly, all tube-wells have been contaminated by flood sewage, triggering an imminent outbreak of water-borne epidemics like cholera and diarrhea. The destitute inhabitants are in dire need of dry food rations, water purification tablets, saline packets, and emergency baby food.
I, therefore, earnestly pray and request that your honor would kindly visit our devastated union and immediately dispatch emergency relief materials and mobile medical rescue teams to save thousands of starving, marooned souls.
