Losing control over the steering wheel, the reckless bus driver crushed the poor cyclist under its heavy front wheels. Within a fraction of a second, the bicycle was smashed into pieces, and the helpless old man lay in a pool of fresh blood, screaming in agony before falling unconscious. Nearby pedestrians and shopkeepers rushed forward immediately, while the irresponsible bus driver fled the scene. A passing auto-rickshaw helped carry the victim to the nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Careless driving, unfit vehicles, and lack of traffic rule enforcement turn our roads into death traps. Stricter traffic laws and punishment are urgently needed to stop these tragic deaths.
