A Railway Station Paragraph with Bangla Meaning

A railway station is a busy, noisy, and bustling place where passenger and cargo trains stop regularly for passengers to board or alight, and for goods to be loaded or unloaded. In Bangladesh, major railway stations like Kamalapur in Dhaka and Chittagong Railway Station are lively hubs of constant human activity. The station is divided into several areas: ticket booking counters, waiting halls for passengers, administrative offices, luggage rooms, tea stalls, bookstalls, and long open platforms flanked by parallel iron railway tracks. The atmosphere is filled with continuous sounds: the loud whistling of locomotives, the metallic clatter of moving train carriages, station announcements through loudspeakers, and the persistent shouting of porters (coolies) wearing red shirts. Vendors carrying baskets of roasted peanuts, fresh tea, fried snacks, and newspapers walk up and down the platforms loudly advertising their wares. When a train arrives, frantic hustle and bustle breaks out as passengers push forward to find seats, while arriving passengers rush out carrying heavy suitcases. In contrast, when the train departs, the platform suddenly becomes calm and empty until the next train arrives.
