Notice: Solemn Observance of National Mourning Day and Bangabandhu Memorial Discussion

OBSERVANCE OF NATIONAL MOURNING DAY

This is to inform all students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff that National Mourning Day will be observed with due solemnity on 15th August 2026. The national flag will be hoisted at half-mast at dawn. All students and teachers are requested to wear black badges and assemble in the Main Auditorium at 9:30 AM to participate in the special discussion meeting and prayer session commemorating the martyrdom of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members. An inter-house essay writing competition on "The Life and Philosophy of Bangabandhu" will follow the discussion.
