Dear Rafiq,
Take my cordial love. I received your sweet letter yesterday and was overjoyed to learn that you are doing splendidly in your studies. In your letter, you wanted to know about our school’s Annual Sports Day. Here is a brief account of it.
Our annual sports competition was held on 10th February on our vast school playground. The entire ground was colourfully decorated with flags, festoons, and balloons. The local Deputy Commissioner graced the occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated the event at 9:00 AM by hoisting the national flag.
There were over twenty exciting track and field events, including the 100-meter sprint, long jump, high jump, and sack race. I took part in the 200-meter sprint and stood second. The most entertaining item was the dress-as-you-like event. At 4:30 PM, the chief guest distributed medals and trophies among the proud winners.
It was indeed a memorable and joyous day for all of us. No more today. Give my sincere regards to your parents and love to the younger ones.

🇧🇩 চিঠির সম্পূর্ণ বাংলা অনুবাদ
আমার আন্তরিক ভালোবাসা নিও। গতকাল তোমার চিঠি পেয়ে জানতে পারলাম তুমি পড়াশোনায় ভালো করছ। তোমার চিঠিতে আমাদের বিদ্যালয়ের বার্ষিক ক্রীড়া প্রতিযোগিতা সম্পর্কে জানতে চেয়েছিলে। নিচে তার একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত বিবরণ দিলাম।
গত ১০ই ফেব্রুয়ারি আমাদের বিদ্যালয়ের বিশাল খেলার মাঠে বার্ষিক ক্রীড়া প্রতিযোগিতা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। পুরো মাঠটি পতাকা, ফেস্টুন ও রঙিন বেলুন দিয়ে চমৎকারভাবে সাজানো হয়েছিল। স্থানীয় জেলা প্রশাসক প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে সকাল ৯টায় জাতীয় পতাকা উত্তোলনের মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠান উদ্বোধন করেন।
১০০ মিটার দৌড়, লং জাম্প, হাই জাম্প ও যেমন খুশি তেমন সাজোসহ বিশটিরও বেশি আকর্ষণীয় ইভেন্ট অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। আমি ২০০ মিটার দৌড়ে অংশ নিয়ে দ্বিতীয় স্থান লাভ করি। বিকাল সাড়ে চারটায় প্রধান অতিথি বিজয়ীদের মাঝে ট্রফি ও মেডেল বিতরণ করেন।
দিনটি আমাদের জন্য সত্যিই অত্যন্ত আনন্দের ও স্মরণীয় ছিল। আজ আর নয়। তোমার মা-বাবাকে আমার সালাম জানিও এবং ছোটদের ভালোবাসা দিও।
