Letter to Friend Describing a Memorable Educational Study Tour to Bagerhat

Dear Sifat,
I received your warm letter yesterday. You wanted to hear about our recent college study tour. We had a magnificent trip to the historic city of Bagerhat, and I am eager to share the experience with you.
We started our journey by bus early in the morning, crossing the majestic Padma Bridge. Our main destination was the world-famous Sixty Dome Mosque (Shat Gombuj Masjid), built by the great saint Khan Jahan Ali in the 15th century. Beholding the monumental brick craftsmanship, terracotta carvings, and 77 domes supported by 60 stone pillars left us spellbound. We also visited the Ghora Dighi and the nearby archaeological museum.
This tour broadened our historical horizons far beyond the dry pages of textbooks. It gave us a tangible sense of our ancient heritage.

গতকাল তোমার চিঠি পেয়েছি। তুমি আমাদের কলেজ শিক্ষা সফর সম্পর্কে জানতে চেয়েছিলে। বাগেরহাটের ঐতিহাসিক শহরে আমাদের অসাধারণ একটি সফর হয়েছে এবং তা তোমার সাথে শেয়ার করতে পেরে আনন্দ লাগছে।
সকালে বাসে চড়ে স্বপ্নের পদ্মা সেতু পার হয়ে আমরা যাত্রা শুরু করি। আমাদের মূল আকর্ষণ ছিল পঞ্চদশ শতাব্দীতে সুফি সাধক খান জাহান আলী নির্মিত ঐতিহাসিক ষাট গম্বুজ মসজিদ। এর পোড়ামাটির অলংকরণ এবং ৬০টি পাথরের স্তম্ভের ওপর নির্মিত ৭৭টি গম্বুজ আমাদের অভিভূত করে দেয়। আমরা ঘোড়া দিঘি ও প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক জাদুঘরও পরিদর্শন করি।
এই সফর পাঠ্যবইয়ের গণ্ডি ছাড়িয়ে আমাদের প্রাচীন ইতিহাস ও ঐতিহ্যকে সরাসরি জানার এক অনন্য সুযোগ করে দিয়েছিল।
